LEE FORD, CEO

During the past eight years, Tone Struck Records' president, Mr. Lee Ford, has worked ambitiously establishing himself as one of the most respected young record executives in the field of Rap and R&B music.

Entering the recording industry as a local promotion representative, Ford's effectiveness soon enabled him to expand his reach regionally working Rap and R&B acts such as KoKane, DJ Quik, Suga Free, Madd Nation, and the late-great Mausberg. Being a "visionary", Ford quickly realized how valuable the knowledge and connections he was acquiring at the radio and retail level would benefit him in the near future . . .

Armed with his ear for hit music, vast connections, and education in Business Management, Ford went on to embark on a new business venture by forming his own independent record label, Tone Struck Records.

After conducting an extensive creative search for incredibly gifted Rap and R&B artists to add to its roster, Ford's Tone Struck Records secured its first distribution deal with Ground Level Distribution, soon followed by a subsequent deal with Sony Redd Distribution.

Tone Struck Records along with its talented artists caught the attention of the senior executives at the new Warner Bros. Music Group, which resulted in a world-wide distribution deal.
