22 year old Rick Rooga is coming to you from Dallas, Texas. A place that is no stranger to high crime, hard times, the struggle, and the hustle. Oak Cliff is the the heart of Dallas where many talented artists are emerging from the bottom up despite everyday struggles which is nothing new to Rick Rooga who stays in the studio with a notepad and a pen and writes about the good, the bad, and ugly that the streets of Oak Cliff portrayed.

RICK ROOGA has already made a name for himself in Texas's underground scene and is quickly rising to the surface as the self proclaim "Heart of Oak Cliff". He defines himself as the core of a movement that has long evaded the south with a voice that catches your ear and a flow that will hold him in your heart. Rick Rooga brings to the table exactly what the game has been missing with his hit single "GO" currently in rotation and picking up momentum. '08 is definitely his year.

Rick Rooga always had a passion for music but it wasn't until he followed his big brothers footsteps in 2001 where he wanted to be the one creating good music rather than just listening to it. Ricks first recording session sounded like he was doing it for years with a swagger and a sound that was diverse from others at the time. Still a high school student, Rick's main focus became graduating and being at the studio. Music became him and he became music. After graduation Candy Houze Records was formed which he made his home.

After years of hard work and struggles, Rick Rooga and his Candy Houze Family teamed up with ToneStruck Records, who has work with a lot of big name artists in the past, and became an unstoppable FAMILY of talented and creative artists. Now its time for the world to see what Dallas has to offer and join the movement.
